DRAWING/OIL PAINTING LESSONS, BEGINNER-ADVANCED
Ongoing instruction, Tuesday morning 9:30-12:30, Wednesday evening 6:30-9:30
Instructor: Lauren Travis
Lessons are held at the Art Studio of Lauren Travis 2544 Durham Road (Rt. 413), Buckingham, PA 18912
Topics covered are:
Subject matter, focal points, composition, line, light & shadow, edges. Painting lessons will also cover color
mixing and brushstrokes.
To evaluate your level:
Beginner: Has little to no experience.
Intermediate: Has basic knowledge of topics covered and some experience handling the medium.
Advanced: Is confident with the medium, needs critique of work and refinement/advancement of skills.
Cost is $50/lesson. Cash/Check/CC
Additional $10 live model fee collected during live model sessions.
Students must provide their own oil painting/drawing materials, a suggested materials list is provided.
Easels & set up are provided by the instructor. Students may select to paint or draw from a photo, please
bring
your own photography.
Students receive a 30% discount on framing of their own art.
