Testimonials:

"Lauren is a friendly, knowledgeable teacher. She is involved with art as a painter, gallery owner, and lecturer. She has juried many area art shows. Lauren is an efficient teacher and gives all students equal time. Recently, she sponsored a landscape workshop with Peter Fiore, which I thoroughly enjoyed. She shares her knowledge of painting from the beginning sketch through the final brushstroke. Also, she makes appropriate suggestions for choosing canvases, brushes, paints, and other art materials. Lauren's spacious, comfortable studio is well stocked with easels for all, excellent lighting, shelves ready for still life displays, an area for a model, sinks for cleaning brushes, and the Walker system to display paintings. I am really happy to study art with Lauren. I have learned so much in the short period of time I have studied with her. her personality and teaching method really suits my artistic needs." --Cynthia Purvins

"Lauren is a great instructor. She is very knowledgeable and works well with people of differing skill levels."--Cindy MacMillan
